An order of the Ministry of employment and solidarity from 1st march 1998, has prohibited the use on the market of quicksilver medical thermometers intended to measure human internal temperature. From then on, a lot of substitution devices to take medical temperature have appeared on the market. 

The PELIMEX SA company, created march the 10th 1997, has immediately been specialized in the marketing of gallium medical thermometers (used in replacement of quicksilver). Founders and directors of the society (ex workers of Maas Company, quicksilver glass thermometers manufacturer) have brought PELIMEX a quality brand and their savoir-faire.

1997, the established quality sytem receive the GMED (Medical companies certification organization) accreditation - EN 46002/ ISO 9002 certification. ensuring to the customer a high performing servicing and tracking, for both hospital environment and end users.

The company has an internal laboratory who assures each customer the maintainance of every product commercialized by PELIMEX.

In 2003, the firm promote a new range of products for the health of mostly everybody : the electronic breathalyzer. In advance of the period, this business looks necessary in regard to the regulation modification concerning transport enforcement (at both national and european levels).

In november 2003, PELIMEX obtain from the Laboratoire National d'Essais (LNE - AFNOR) the NF (Norme Française) certification for its electronic breathalyzers, CA2000 PX PRO and ABI models.

Looking permanently for satisfying the customer and ensuring best product quality, PELIMEX evolves regularly its quality system. Therefore, since june 2009, PELIMEX has been able to obtain the ISO 9001 : 2008 certification, reconducting in the same time the NF EN ISO 13485 : 2004 certification.
